LOGO
The logo is made up of two parts, the first one is the three-pointed wasp with open wings and the hexagon behind it and the second one is the name of the brand. Let’s take it one step at a time:

THE WASP
The wasp was chosen as a symbol for several reasons, the first is its speed, its perfection in flight, in attacking predators and aerodynamics and its sporty and aggressive colours, which is why the company’s colours are also black and yellow, which in nature symbolise danger.
This animal was also chosen not only because of its dangerousness but also because of its group feeling, because they do not only defend themselves individually, but also defend their hive and their relatives.
Unlike bees, wasps can attack repeatedly without dying and are more aggressive and unpredictable.
Precisely the wasp that appears in the logo is the yellow jacket wasp, which is native to Spain and very common in the region of Andalusia, where the CEO and founder of the company SERRANO spent his childhood. The name of the company was completed with the name of this wasp, and the company’s name was legally changed to THE RACING YELLOWJACKET S.L.
The three points of the wasp, symbolises a perfect number used for centuries, b
oth for its religious symbolism (the holy trinity) and for how easy it is to memorise, as well as mathematically and culturally. For the Pythagoreans, the number three, the triad, was born as the sum of the unit and the couple, 1 + 2 = 3, that is to say, it combines the monad with the dyad. It is a symbol of universal harmony, since it combines unity with diversity. Moreover, it is a sacred number, in the sense that it is the first number to have a beginning, middle and end. Furthermore, in the context of THE RACING it symbolises the 3 founding partners from 3 different cultures China, England and Spain.
The wings are open in both flight and attack position, as you can see that the wasp’s stinger is out, ready to protect and engage in combat. the wings are also large and are in that position representing the protection it gives to its members, the wings give the sensation of covering you and you feel sheltered by them.
The two tips of the wings are the two founding partners who metaphorically gave wings to the project and the sting of the wasp is the first founder and ideator of THE RACING that even being the weapon of attack will not be able to realize it without the two wings that accompany it.
The hexagonal honeycomb, this hexagon symbolises the unity of the group and the feeling of community, where the wasp is not alone, she is supported by her honeycomb, which completes the logo and gives strength to the image. This is a very strong symbolism of unity and commitment.Furthermore, the Hexagon in nature is the ultimate combination of space, great material savings, and stability.
A honeycomb with this hexagonal structure is able to make maximum use of space, with maximum privacy for its guests, using the minimum amount of material and covering the maximum available space, as well as providing it with great strength.
The hexagon also refers to graphene is considered a unique material, two-dimensional because it is only one atom thick and with a structure formed by hexagons containing at each end a carbon atom (similar to a wasp’s panel) forming a very resistant sheet, stronger than steel, harder than diamond, flexible, transparent, electrically conductive and compatible with our body. The properties of graphene are so incredible that it has been called “the material of God”.
These properties make it the “miracle” material and one of the most important nanomaterials of the 21st century. The use of graphene promises a technological renewal and revolution in our century.

THE NAME
THE RACING The meaning of the logo has a direct correlation with its market, the world of motorsport and supercars where racing alludes to competition, sportiness and speed and THE symbolises that it is not just any competition, it is the main competition, it is the reference, it is THE RACING.
TAGLINE
“If it’s a Supercar, it belongs to THE RACING” this slogan is clear and concise, if it is a supercar it is THE RACING, this gives an elitist air and of union of people of high level, that is to say, if somebody is successful, sure that he belongs to THE RACING, and also offers in this way an air of exclusivity since also with this one comes to refer that not everybody can belong to THE RACING.
